On Saturday 9th September I visited Winchester Cathedral to see the Flower Festival.  In addition to the wonderful floral displays there were numerous armorial memorials.  One that immediately caught my eye was to William Nicholson of Basing Park.  The Arms  of his grandson, Sir Godfrey Nicholson Bt, were included in my Nicholson Armorial.
