The Arms in Armorial Families are impaling those of Simpson: Argent on a chief Purpure thee crescents of the first. These Arms are recorded in the Lyon Register to  Alexander Prout Simpson (b.1859 d.1930), the brother of Elizabeth Mary Pixley (b.1852) and Francis’ wife.

I do not know if the Arms matriculated by Alexander Prout Simpson included his father, John Price Simpson.  Unfortunately, digital images from the Public Register of All Arms and Bearings in Scotland hosted by Scotlandspeople.gov.uk currently only goes up to 1916.
