Grant of Arms: John-Simon Farley of Antigua 1790

Forum Antiques are offering for sale at auction the 1790 Grant of Arms to John-Simon Farley of Antigua on 30th May 2019 with an estimate of £400-£600.

The Grant mentions John-Simon Farley as the only son of Simon Farley and grandson of Simon Farley both of Antiqua.  The family had been using the Arms that belonged anciently to Reginald Farley of Fryley of County York from whom they claimed descent but it was considered impossible to ascertain their right to the Arms.
