Grant of Arms: Thomas Yard of Barbados 1810

Auctioneers Dominic Winter Auctions are offering for sale the Grant of Arms to Thomas Yard (1786-1844) of the Parish of St George in the Island of Barbados and to the children of his late younger brother Edward James Yard, Edward, Mary & Elvira.  The auction is on the 4th March at South Cerney, Cirencester, Gloucestershire.  The auctioneers guide price is £200-£300.

Arms: Sable on a chevron Argent between three water bougets Or as many Cocks Gules.
Crest: On a mount Vert a cock as in the Arms the dexter claw on a water bouget Or.
Motto: Semper Vigilans
