Auctioneers Barry L Hawkins of Downham Market, Norfolk, have recently sold the 1940 Irish Confirmation of Arms to Benjamin Brabazon Barton of Ballyline. The hammer price on 8th August 2018 was £130.
Benjamin Brabazon Barton was the only son of Edward Fergus John Barton and Jane Lucy Brabazon. He married Constance Helen Stewart and had two daughters:
- Daphne Veronica Catherine Barton b. 28 March 1934
- Barbara Vera Jane Barton b. 8 February 1937. She married William Harald Blatch in 1963.
Both daughters appear to have been residing in Norfolk around 1997 – 2004.
Arms: Argent three boars’ heads couped Gules in the centre chief point a sprig of oak leaves fructed proper.
Crest: A boars head couped Gules.
