Armorial Achievement: Henry Webb of Harrow on the Hill 1587

Dominic Winter Auctions of Cirencester have listed in their auction of 11th April 2018 an Armorial Achievement of Henry Webb of Harrow on the Hill. It is thought to have been possibly cut from the original Grant of Arms.  The auctioneers estimate is £100-£150.  The hammer price was £130.00.

Crest: A demi eagle displayed Argent the wings pellettee gorged with with a coronet Gules.

The entry in Burkes’ General Armory has the field and the Crest as Or.  Another instance of the BGA not being as accurate as one would wish.
