Auctioneers J.P.Humbert’s sale on 5th October 2017 includes the Grant of Arms to William Lavington Marchant (b.1828 d.1889) of Freshford in the County of Somerset and of Mannanarie in the County of Stanley, South Australia. The Letters Patent also state that the Arms extend to other descendants of his late father, also named William Lavington Marchant.
Auctioneer’s estimate £50 – £80 with the starting bid set at £30.
